Buyer commits to providing a forever home for their dog. Buyer commits to having arrangements made for their dog if they no longer are able to provide a home for their dog, and to contact the breeder if this occurs.
If a Buyer is interested in either a show or breeding potential puppy, they must request this at the beginning of the process, and the Breeder must agree to factoring it into matching a puppy to them in writing. Not every puppy is suitable for this criterion. Puppies with show and breeding potential may have additional terms with a co-ownership agreement.
AKC registered names are assigned to puppies at the discretion of the Breeder. Pet names are made by the Buyer.
There is a straightforward process to match puppies with Buyers. The Breeder matches puppies to Buyers. This is done by the Breeder carrying out various tests, evaluations and training, and factoring preferences given to the Breeder by the Buyer. The Breeder makes a best effort to honor preferences, but availability cannot be guaranteed. The Breeder may have more than one puppy available for a Buyer to choose from, but this cannot be guaranteed.
Buyer preferences must be stated at the start of the agreement and confirmed in writing by the Breeder before they will be factored into any attempt at match making. Preferences cannot be changed or amended to at a later time. Please note that having no preference is also a preference and cannot be amended at a later time. Buyers may consider fewer preferences to increase availability of a puppy for them.
Buyers who express interest to the Breeder about a particular puppy, perhaps from a picture or video, will have the information noted by the Breeder, but availability of that puppy cannot be guaranteed nor does doing this replace preferences previously made. The Breeder will consider the information and if the puppy is available when matching puppies to Buyers. I urge Buyers to resist the temptation of setting their hearts on a particular puppy so the process can play out. They are pretty cute and I know this will be hard to do.
Buyers can be added to a wait list by carrying out 3 steps: a deposit of $500, stating preferences that are confirmed in writing by the Breeder, and agreeing to this Purchase Agreement. The Contact Me button below will generate an email, then copy and paste this agreement into your email, and write 'Agree' above the text on a blank line. Deposits are credited to the purchase price.
The Breeder will notify Buyers in the wait group when the bitch is being bred. Please note that the bitch has been bred.
Returning deposits: 1) Deposits are refundable up to the time the bitch is bred. 2) If the Breeder is unable to provide a puppy based on the agreed criteria, the Breeder will give the Buyer the option of returning their deposit, offering another puppy if one is available, or leaving their deposit with the Breeder if a future litter is planned. An example is a Buyer preference for a female, and no female is available. 3) The Breeder may not refund a deposit if a Buyer rejects the puppy reserved for them based on the agreed criteria when the puppy available and offered. This includes changing their mind about buying a puppy or buying a puppy from another breeder. If the Breeder has another Buyer for the rejected puppy, the Breeder may refund the deposit, but if the Breeder doesn't have another Buyer, the Buyer loses their deposit. It will be applied to unplanned extended care for the puppy.
The unpaid balance is due before the Breeder will transfer puppies to Buyers.
Puppies are transferred to Buyers of pet quality puppies with a Limited Registration or transferred to Buyers of show potential puppies with a co-owner agreement. For Limited Registration, full registration will be granted after the Buyer provides documentation to the Breeder that their dog has been spayed or neutered. Male Dalmatians should not be neutered before they turn 2 years old. Female Dalmatians should complete at least 1 heat cycle and not be spayed before they are 18 months old. It is very important to follow this timing and not sooner due to health impacts that will take effect but usually won't start surfacing until later in life. Co-owner agreements vary with Buyers and may include terms about showing, breeding, spaying and neutering.
The Breeder accepts payment electronically, via Zelle or Venmo. Both banking utilities provide a detailed footprint of the transaction. Cash or check is not accepted.
